It is a heavy responsibility of all of us to ensure that all students studying in government high schools acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need at various levels of education. Most of the children in government schools are from rural areas and it is the primary duty of every teacher to strengthen their learning. Students engaged in learning are learning in different learning environments. An innovative activity called 'Vishwas Kiran' was organized during the holiday period to identify the students who are lagging behind in learning and enhance their learning ability.
The 'Vishwas Kiran' program is designed for a total holiday period of 25 days. The learning methods followed in this program are different from regular classroom methods and are motivational towards learning. It is specially designed for students who are lagging behind in learning and contains the necessary steps for students to learn further and face exams with confidence. Each session conducted by the teacher includes 'interactive' elements. A scientific attitude involves practical calculations necessary to validate the learning content. Practice sheets are provided so that students can get feedback on their learning and plan accordingly for the next sessions.
As this is a special program, normal classroom processes are not given much emphasis. Complementary activities to teach the same subjects instead. PPT and other aspects are given priority. The program starts with a pre-test. In the pre-examination, the students are tested on the skills they need to complement the learning of the respective class. In this issue only some subjects which may be more difficult for the students have been given priority and information has been given about the ways to facilitate them. These can be modified by the teacher to complement the learning of the students in the class. Overall, it is important to build self-confidence among students who are lagging behind in learning and motivate them towards learning. It is our hope that all the English, Maths and Science teachers will join in this work.
Some information for Facilitators:
* Start 'Vishwas Kiran' program with pre-examination, pre-examination question papers will be provided to you in time.
* After the pre-examination, the answer sheets have to be measured and the information has to be submitted in the form provided by the department.
You get an insight into student learning after pre-test measurement. Formulate further activities based on it;
* Always keep in mind that this program is designed for students who are academically backward and design learning activities accordingly:
* Before starting each class check the seating arrangement of the students, availability of necessary learning materials etc. to facilitate learning:
* Talk to students informally before the start of each class to get their attention:
* Some motivational technique to motivate students for learning - their usefulness through some aspects about daily life. Accuracy, variety of cognitive thinking processes etc. can be addressed in few minutes;
* Ensure biometric attendance etc. of students before the start of class and ensure that there are no disruptions in the class;

Avoiding one-sided communication as much as possible, solving problems through stimulation and activities for students. Example – Convince methods of creating line drawings. then do some practice calculations to confirm learning and finally confirm learning using assessment sheets;
* Remember to measure learning using practice sheets after every class;
* The methods, activities, teaching aids etc. suggested here are advisory. You will have the freedom to use any activity, educational equipment that may be necessary in addition to this;
* After completion of all the sessions the post-test will be conducted and measurement will have to be given in the form provided by the department.
